　　U-bolts are non-standard pipe fittings. They are named after their U-shaped shape. They have threads at both ends that can be combined with nuts. They are mainly used to fix tubular objects such as water pipes or sheets.

　　U-bolts are primarily used to hang piping in industrial applications and are often called out by the nominal size pipe they are hanging. Standard U-bolts typically come with nuts, however, the nuts need to be specified for special grade U-bolts.
