Application

  Because the disc of a tilting disc check valve is mounted tilted at an angle of 15⁰, this valve opens at speeds as low as 0.6 m/sec and the response time is minimal. This prevents ''stalling'' of the disc at low speeds and prevents wear on the spindle, springs and bearings. The self-centering seal provides excellent sealing at both high and low pressure differentials. In addition, the valves can be expanded with additional springs to increase the response speed if the probability of fast-return flow is high.
